What a great personalized gift for the animal lover in your life (even if that's you!). This listing is for a custom painted portrait of one pet on the wood slice. The birch slices are approximately 2.5-3 inches in diameter, have a charming raw edge, and are sustainably harvested from damaged or fallen branches in the state of Maine. They're shipped to Oklahoma so I can paint a beautiful custom portrait of your pet on the individual wood piece. Each slice of wood is different and unique, just like your pet! 

I drill a hole at the top of each slice, string twine through the hole, and this creates an ornament you can hang in your home, car, office, or classroom all year long. Each ornament will come with a simple design around the edge. I will choose complimentary colors from your pet. If you prefer not to have a hole drilled in your slice of wood, please let me know upon purchase.

After payment, please make sure to email me a photo of your pet within one week of purchase (lauren@artlabeau.com). ***The best photos to paint from are taken straight on and at the dog's eye level in a well lit area. This allows me to see their face shape and eye color at the most flattering angle. You can send a few and I can pick the one that would translate best to an ornament if you like!*** Please also send me the animal's name and gender. I don't automatically add pink accent colors to girls and blue to boys, but it does help me while I paint those sweet faces.

Make sure to email me photos prior to December 7th, so I can have your artwork shipped by December 14th.
